Teaching

My teaching experience spans the past 12 years with a focus in public policy, administration, state and local politics, and administrative/public management as well as federal government at two and four year institutions. Active learning and simulation and gaming make up the bulk of my curriculum. One area I have focused on is developing the online learning community and curriculum in my courses. I have focused on creating spaces that mimic face-to-face instruction - flipped classrooms and interaction communities - while balancing the technical and support needs of students. I have completed the ACUE course in online teaching.
